Servicing your Chris King Headset or Bottom Bracket regularly will make it perform its best. Seals and snap rings don’t normally need to be replaced with every cleaning or service, but after a while, it’s a great idea to refresh your bike headset or bottom bracket seals to maximize it’s ability to keep the grit out.
To replace the seals in your headset, no special tools are needed.
